It was always you
Some love stories start with a glance across a crowded room. Ours started in a playroom.

One
Once upon a playdate
Brock was three. Anna was one. Their families were close friends, which made the two of them friends too, mostly by default and mostly over snacks. Neither of them remembers much of it, but their parents remember every bit.
-
Two
The long intermission
Somewhere around the ripe old age of six, life sent the families in different directions. Miles stretched between them and the years rolled by. They grew up apart, but they were never really strangers. Some stories don't end. They just wait.
-
Three
A roommate with a sister
Years later, Brock landed a new roommate: Anna's older brother. Coincidence? We like to call it providence, with a small assist from a very good roommate.
-
Four
Save the last dance
Then came one of Anna's dance functions, and Brock went with her. Somewhere between the first song and the last, the little girl he used to share toys with became the only one he wanted to dance with. The years apart melted away, and they finally found their way back to each other.

Five
Happily ever after, starting now
One knee by a mountain lake, one very happy yes, and here we are. The three-year-old and the one-year-old are getting married. Turns out they were made for each other all along. It just took a little while to catch up.
